The nuru massage is a very sensual full-body massage in the Japanese style. Unlike a classic massage, which works on individual muscles, the focus here is on gliding: long, flowing movements that connect the whole body. Traditional nuru gel is usually made from nori seaweed and is particularly smooth – allowing the masseuse to move across your body easily and without resistance.

Our nuru massage includes a variety of techniques – stroking, kneading, stretching and gentle pressure. Because large areas of the body are in contact during the body-to-body technique, it creates a feeling of warmth and security that many guests describe as especially intense.

At Tantra Trauminsel we offer the nuru massage either with warm oil or with a special, smooth gel. The warm, odourless oil feels familiar and cosy – ideal if this is your first nuru massage. The gel creates the typical, particularly smooth nuru feeling: gliding, light and very intense.

Which you prefer is something we discuss calmly in the preliminary talk. You do not have to decide in advance – simply tell us what you feel like, and we will shape the massage accordingly.

We will be expecting you and give you a warm welcome. Before the massage, our spacious shower is at your disposal – with a nuru massage, showering beforehand is naturally part of it. In a short preliminary talk we discuss your wishes and needs, oil or gel, and what feels good to you.

Then you make yourself comfortable on a soft mat. The massage begins with gentle strokes before your masseuse involves your whole body with gliding body-to-body movements. Elements of tantra massage – conscious breathing, slow transitions, mindful touch – give the nuru massage its special depth. After the massage you can shower in peace and take a moment before returning to everyday life.

You can also enjoy the nuru massage as a couple. Couples arrive together – and each of you enjoys your own massage in a room of your own, with your own masseuse. Couples choose from the same massages as for a single massage, including the nuru massage.
